Position Summary:

The ERSEA (Eligibility, Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Attendance) Resource Specialist is responsible for monitoring documentation entered for accuracy within program’s ChildPlus data system so it is efficient in reporting to local, state, and federal stakeholders. The ERSEA Resource Specialist reports directly to the Senior Lead Parent Family Community Engagement (PFCE).

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with center level staff as needed to follow up on ERSEA data.
  • Maintains a system for monitoring and tracking ERSEA data to ensure accuracy.
  • Attends Content and program training to meet expectations of the position.
  • Monitors assigned classroom attendance weekly and reports to supervisor ADA trends of centers that regularly falls below 85%.
  • Monitors and verifies assigned In-Kind for accuracy, and communicates with supervisor any deficiencies and/or trends that require follow up.
  • Monitors and verifies Intakes and reports for accuracy, and communicates with supervisor any deficiencies and/or trends that require follow up.
  • Participates on Selection Committee to ensure eligible children are selected according to program approved criteria.
  • Ensures filing for assigned centers is completed and documentation is available for annual audits.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all program and agency data accessibility of children, family, and staff.
  • Recommend innovative opportunities when using Children’s Services data system to reflect program results.
  • Assists as needed with content training as requested.
  • Ensures required ERSEA Program Information Reporting (PIR) documentation is entered accurately in ChildPlus for assigned centers.
  • Monitors and ensures required ERSEA content data is efficient and offers responsive results in a demanding work environment.
  • Participates in agency and community events to establish collaborative relationships and partnerships.
  • Monitors assigned center reports and ensures data is accurate for supervisor to include in Self-Assessment.
  • Ensure the accountability and integrity of the Agency’s mission is reflected in ability to work independently to complete task effectively and efficiently.
  • Seeks opportunities to be a lifelong learner through Professional Development opportunities (remotely or in person) as funds are available.
  • Other duties as necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

Work Relationships and Scope:Consistent engagement with individuals supporting children, families, staff, and community resource partners. This position is demanding and is ideal for individuals who excel in time management and thrive in challenging, fast-moving environments. Measure of Performance:

Communicates with center level staff frequently to ensure understanding and implementation for ChildPlus data. (Daily/Weekly)

Monitors attendance for assigned classrooms (Monthly)

Monitors In-Kind for assigned classrooms (Monthly)

Monitors Intakes during selection for accuracy (On-going)

Monitors Program Information Report (PIR) data (Monthly)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

AA Degree is preferred, in a field of study related to Administration or General Studies. Proven ability to problem-solve, and work in a demanding environment. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Exemplifies cultural humility and sensitivity. Excellent communication skills. Experienced in utilizing technology efficiently and productively.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office setting with minimal safety issues. Remote work arrangements may be permitted with prior approval from the supervisor. The ability to frequently travel internal and/or external for meetings & trainings. This position requires sitting, standing, bending, and minimal lifting. This position requires a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
