JOB TITLE:    Data Outcomes Team Specialist            STATUS:  Non-Exempt
                                   
REPORTS TO:  ERSEA Content Team Leader               DAYS:  185 per year
                                     
GRADE LEVEL/ HOURLY RATE:  17 / $12.43              DATE:  June 2013      
 
 
 
 
Position Summary:

The Specialist will be responsible for assisting the ERSEA Content Team Leader in entry of ERSEA, health, dental, and in-kind data for the Partnership. They will be responsible for recruitment at the center level.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist ATLs, CSTs, RSs, Head Start Director and all other staff with FACSPro System, reports, and data entry for monitoring and program management as needed
  • Support all Program Staff in accomplishing program expectations
  • Enter data in a timely manner.  Monitor, record, and report on-going health and data entry outcomes
  • Ensure the validity of In-Kind contributions before entry into FACSPro to ensure the program meets the required In-Kind match
  • Assist with providing training during pre-service and throughout the year as needed
  • Monitor and provide a monthly analysis of attendance that falls below 85%
  • Recruit visitors (volunteers) to help agency meet In-Kind match
  • Enter designated classroom attendance, in-kind, 45/90 day screens, accidents, and health data into FACSPro
  • Responsible for entering family case notes into FACSPro
  • Work in collaboration with ERSEA CTL & center level staff to extend ERSEA services
  • Maintain a health and dental tracking system for enrolled children
  • Conduct and monitor health, dental, safety and nutritional services of all enrolled children
  • Ensure 45/90 day mandates for health & dental are provided and follow up is completed
  • Recruit children/families, interview applicants, complete applications, enters applications, and maintains site waiting list data as required
  • Participate in Health Services Advisory Committee
  • Monitor classroom files quarterly and complete classroom file checks
  • Assist clients in completing Medicaid enrollment paperwork
  • Recruits participants for Medicaid Outreach program
  • Meet with providers as requested
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking CPR/First-aid
  • Assist in entering Pre-K information into INow system
  • Participate in Self-Assessment
  • Provide reports to ATLs, classroom staff, and others as requested
  • Assist in recruiting substitutes to meet staff-child ratio
  • Assistance for meeting classroom ratio may be offered at Supervisor approval
 
Additional Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide prompt, efficient and responsive service in a demanding work environment
  • Attends community activities and meetings appropriate for the Program.
  • Stays current with Head Start programs and regulations.
  • Supports and understands the mission of the Partnership.
  • Other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
 
Work Relationships and Scope:
Reports directly to the ERSEA Content Team Leader.  Regular interaction with support staff, and staff in the field. Interaction with children, parents, guardians, community, general public and vendors as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Nonprofit and/or Head Start experience a plus.  Computer experience and knowledge a must. Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, Daycare Licensing Minimum Standards, and ERSEA regulations a plus.  Qualifications would include strong written and verbal communication skill, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, experience working local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.  Experience working with committees and teams is a plus.
 

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office setting with minimal safety issues.  Occasional to frequent travel to outside meetings and Partnership sites throughout northern Alabama counties.  This position requires sitting, standing, bending, and minimal lifting.  This position requires a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
